Refreshing a campus-native brand and app for an instant delivery startup
About the project
Handle is an instant delivery startup founded at the University of Southern California, built for college campuses to help students access snacks and drinks quickly.
Using electric bikes and a student-run workforce across California and Oregon, it operates a fast, on-demand delivery network that offers snacks, beverages, ice cream, and more around universities.
Challenge
When Handle approached our team, they already had a brand and a live app, however, the experience felt cluttered and outdated. We were brought in to reimagine the brand into a youthful, vibrant identity and extend it into a refined, highly usable mobile app experience.
Our process
Building on Handle’s existing assets, we refined its visual identity and unified it across product and investor materials, focusing on clarity and usability.

- Investor-ready pitch deck supporting Handle’s fundraising narrative, with the startup later reaching over $1.6M in total funding
- Scalable design foundation built to support Handle’s expansion
Our approach
Handle’s brand had to feel genuinely campus-native, so we grounded every decision in how students actually shop and snack, and what drives their choices.
