Designing an empowering website for Canadian women’s health care

About the project

A Canadian DTC telehealth platform connects patients with licensed practitioners for stigma-associated conditions — including weight loss, acne, birth control, and menopause.

Balancing clinical expertise with an empowering voice, it focuses primarily on Canadian women aged 30–50, helping them destigmatize these conditions and supporting them throughout their health journey.

Halo Lab Webflow website for women’s health care platform

Challenge

The client needed a full site refresh aligned with its pivot toward women’s health and with updated design standards for the telehealth market. They expected us to deliver a competitor-informed homepage redesign, stronger conversion logic, and a Webflow build.

Our process

We combined research insights, user-focused design, and a scalable Webflow build to deliver an updated website that inspires users and supports platform growth.

Results

The refined website established a focused women’s health identity that separates the brand from broad-condition competitors in the telehealth market. Conversion-focused flows and strategically placed CTAs supported clearer user journeys. At the same time, the production-ready Webflow build and reusable components provided a scalable foundation for growth and faster rollout of new services.

Our approach

Our approach centered on creating an emotionally engaging yet medically credible experience that makes users feel supported and confident at every step.

01 · Discovery & research

We analyzed Canadian and US telehealth competitors, mapping homepage structures and trust signals in the women’s health space. Three audience personas guided a design focused on empowerment over idealized health outcomes.

Deliverables

  • 5 competitors analyzed
  • 3 audience personas
  • Structure blocks defined

02 · Website redesign

Two homepage concepts explored different tonal directions — one vibrant and emotional, one calm and clinical. Client feedback led us to a hybrid: clear hierarchy and feminine softness, combined with engaging card layouts and a step-based flow.

Deliverables

  • 2 homepage concepts
  • Key pages redesigned
  • Desktop and mobile layouts

03 · Template system & expansion

We expanded the homepage to support multi-condition navigation and designed template pages for weight loss, acne, insomnia, menopause, and perimenopause. A unified UI kit covered components, animations, and key breakpoints.

Deliverables

  • 5 condition pages
  • Animation specifications
  • UI kit

04 · Webflow development

We implemented the redesigned pages in Webflow and integrated CMS for blog content. Our team developed responsive layouts and smooth interactions to ensure a consistent experience across desktop and mobile devices.

Deliverables

  • Scalable Webflow structure
  • CMS architecture

Team

A cross-functional team worked in close sync, continuously adapting to new insights from classroom trials and robot behavior.
