A clever take on design for a smarter language learning platform

Cute and clever logo rooted in knowledge

The logo centers around a playful owl chosen for its strong ties to studying. We decided to go further and create a speech-bubble-shaped body to reflect communication and conversation — key aspects of language learning.

Its round eyes and a small, downward-pointing triangle for the beak make this logo a memorable owl symbol. It works effortlessly as an app icon, favicon, or profile picture, ensuring Clawerly stands out wherever it appears.

Owls are a universal symbol of wisdom and knowledge. This one, we gave a modern twist to make it truly expressive for an educational platform.

Proportional design feels right everywhere

To create the perfect design, our experts centered on simplicity and flexibility. Black and white set a foundation, while soft yellow, sandy hues, pure orange, and soft blue bring just the right amount of energy and warmth.

The layout has a sidebar that keeps navigation simple, while a two-column content flow makes the information easy to grasp with PP Agrandir font. Plus, card-style sections allow learners to focus on what matters most.

Our designers implemented a 12-column grid system with proportional spacing and alignment to ensure usability across all screens.

Contrast branding that inspires learning

Considering that the platform’s target audience is students eager to learn, our mission was to create branding that feels fresh, vibrant, and approachable. At the same time, the identity must remain professional and inspiring.

The idea that Clawerly helps learn smarter and speak fluently is reflected in the bold cards that highlight key information. Soft edges and the use of geometric visuals instead of overly formal imagery reinforce the friendly vibe.

The branding strikes a balance between creative expression and practical functionality, perfect for modern education.
