Personalization of a new digital environment for music lovers
Amateur is a music publishing and distribution platform designed for musicians and their audiences worldwide. With this app, people can enjoy songs, playlists, or podcasts across various genres. Its rich feature set helps to explore new authentic voices and tracks in the evolving music landscape.
Incorporated with streaming services, this platform provides a supportive ecosystem for newcomers at every stage of their journey. Thus, they can upload or share recordings with a simple and intuitive interface. Plus, the app uses personalized recommendations to connect users with artists they’ll truly love.
Forging a new star logo that speaks volumes
When developing a logo, we wanted to capture the platform’s energetic spirit and diversity. So, we went with a non-standard convex star, refusing a typical shape. Its modern profile celebrates new talents and the unpolished energy that often leads to the most exciting discoveries.
Then, to broaden the logo’s meaning, we blasted off with six little arrows. Each of them points in a different direction, representing the diversity of genres and content to be explored. It’s a visual reminder that there’s something for everyone, and all creative voices are welcome.
In creating this dynamic logo, our team wanted to convey the platform’s multi-functionality visually and suggest the endless exploration of creative content that awaits users.

Crafting a symphony of color and readability
Our design for this website pops with a vibrant yet balanced color scheme. Lemon yellow injects a youthful energy, reflecting the platform’s focus on fresh talent. Deep blue grounds the design, adding a touch of seriousness and trust. Finally, violet bridges the gap between those tones, offering a hint of creativity and intrigue.
To match this vivid palette, we chose the Almarena font. Its letterforms, with subtle sans-serifs and rounded edges, echo the platform’s modern feel. With this harmonious blend of color and typography, the design creates a visually captivating experience that resonates with both artists and fans.
With these design solutions, we managed to create a bright and friendly vibe that reflects the platform’s core values — liveliness, inclusivity, and informality.

Creating a brand identity that plays the right notes
To create a dynamic brand identity, we used a mix of robust lines, irregular shapes, and textures. These elements add freshness and authenticity to the overall style of the website, guiding users through its variety of music genres and engaging content.
Also, we focused on intricate curves and geometric shapes, creating a clean canvas for the real stars and their artwork. Prominent graphics, custom icons, and real artists’ photos keep things fun and unpretentious, in tune with the platform’s rough-and-tumble spirit.
We built Amateur’s brand to be like a backstage pass — exciting and full of surprises. Its visuals combine bold, bright graphics and user-generated content, reflecting the platform’s diverse sounds.
