Crafting a brand identity for a financial company that banks on Earth’s future
Bank with confidence, knowing that your money is making a difference in the world
Wildbank is a new kind of online banking with crucial services and a passion for conservation. It offers a variety of products, including checking and savings accounts, credit cards, and loans. This platform is committed to sustainability and uses 100% renewable energy to power its operations.
The unique nature of this company lies in its mission. With every swipe of a Wildbank card, a percentage of users’ purchases helps protect African wildlife. This means that customers can do their usual banking and save some of the world’s most endangered animals at the same time.
Shaping banking routes with wild roots
The culmination of our creative journey is a logo that marries the wild with the world of banking — a lion’s paw. With this choice, our designers aimed to reflect the bank’s strength, agility, and the preciousness of the natural world it seeks to protect.
Its minimalist design doesn’t overwhelm but rather etches itself into the user’s memory with understated elegance. To complement this imagery, we used serene green hues and softened edges that invoke a sense of tranquility and harmony.
The softened edges in our logo style mirror the company’s approach to banking — smooth, accessible, and harmonious with nature.

Wild spirit combined with bold design
At the heart of the design solution for this financial website lies a daring and youthful character, reflecting the bank’s wild, bold, and free spirit. The Halo Lab team set out to capture the modernity and freedom that Wildbank and its clientele embody.
Our inspiration came straight from the wild. We used blue to reflect the open sky, yellow as the warmth of the desert, black and white like the stripes of a zebra, green that represents the lurking danger of a crocodile, and orange for the fiery spirit of a lion.
From the vast sky to the lion symbolism, our designers picked every color to tell the story of freedom and adventure.

Embodying the lion’s strength in banking
When we started dreaming up the brand identity, we hit on making it feel like wild animals. So, keeping such an idea in mind, our specialists went with a pastel muted orange color and a print that conveys this message on the bank cards.
Also, the Halo Lab team created a 3D lion’s paw element that shows off Wildbank’s wild side and its serious mission all at once. With this approach, we made banking a bit more wild, a bit more fun, and a whole lot more meaningful.
We were inspired by the untamed beauty of wild animals and used this strategy to create a unique branding image.
